Hello everyone! It’s been over a month since I’ve written anything on this blog. I have so many things I want to write about, but life has been keeping me 100% occupied (minus the precious few hours that I get to sleep). But my workload is lightening up a lot now that Winter Break has begun. I will update more often, I promise!
Also, I wanted to ask a simple question. How are you?
I ask this question often, but I’ve never asked it online. Interacting virtually is still feels weird to me, although I’m 15 years old and supposed to be a digital native. I ask this question today because care about you, although I don’t know many of you personally. If you want to share your response to my question, please do. I want to hear from you.
It’s becoming increasingly important to care about each other, in such a troubled world like ours. I recently found out that one of my previous Literature teachers has committed suicide. I will be honest in that I did not particularly like him. However, everyone deserves to be stopped from permanent decisions like death. Everyone deserves care and concern and love. Everyone deserves a friend. I am willing to be your friend.
This Christmas, please reach out to others and be a friend. Show your care, concern, and love to them. Perhaps a simple question like “How are you?” will make a difference.
